I have a 1986 F250 with the 460 engine and dual tanks. A few days after I used it, it wouldn't start. I found the fuseable link wires at the firewall burned and melted at the large stud. A friend said it's because the alternator harness is bad. The harness had already been replaced before I bought the truck. I replaced the burned wires and started checking to see if everything was connected OK. I cannot find the oil pressure switch that provides 12V to the fuel pump relay. Where is it? And do I need to replace the alternator harness again?
