cannot get engine to idle with out choke. completely cleaned carb but still does not want to idle. any ideas |

check for vacuum leaks...if no leaks found, cross #3 and 4 plug wires, start engine and rew it several times..it will backfire through the carb and blow out any dirt in idle passage.. it's an old mechanic's trick i've done for years.. becareful as it can catch fire.... |
