I cannot find a bed for my 1949 chevrolet truck. I have put 1/2 ton front and rear end on it. The truck had a stepside on it but I got stuck with some Ford Flatbed. I would like to finish this classic with the original longbed. If anyone knows where I could get a complete or majority sheet metal for a bed it would be much appreciated.
Please note: I attend Kansas State University and my home is in Leavenworth. Location is key.

Due to the fact that I'm in College I cannot afford to buy the sheet metal fresh from a company. That is why I am looking for a used bed condition is very flexible.
Thank you all so much.

I was going to mention LMC trucks, as they would have all the sheetmetal you would need, but being a poor college student, ( I am a poor parent of one) I understand...

Jim Carter Trucks Parts in Independence, MO has both new and used old Chevy stuff. They have a web site. According to that web site, they also have several "yards" full of old chevy trucks and might have a bed you need for salvage price.
