I am thinking about purchasing a 1989 L 2250dt Kubota tractor with front end loader and backhoe. it only has 700 hours on it and it is in very nice condition. everything appears to be working properly, I dont see any leaks or anything. they are asking $11,900 for it. I would like to know if anyone has any good or bad information on this model tractor. thank You!!!!

The whole 50 series were excellent tractors, the DT (standard tranny) while not real sophisticated comparet to the HST (hydrostatic tranny) was virtually bullet proof. A well maintained 2250 will make a good tractor for many years. One thing to check is if the front end is loose due to the loader; giver a high speed run for a few yards and see if the front end wobbles. Pete
