I'm installing a MF232 loader w/ front mount pump from a '97 231 to an '04 231S. The shaft port through the frame of the 231S is closed. How do I open this up for the pump shaft to pass through the frame so the 231 crank pulley shaft adapter plate can be installed & used? The 232 mounts from the 231 fit fine w/ some shimming to the belly mount and the pump mount seems to line up as it does on the 231, but the frame area below the radiator is not open and doesn't show anything that can be removed other than the front RH thread cap screw. The 231 has a zerk grease fitting atop the frame portion directly in front of the crank pulley, but the 231S zerk fitting is through a plate inline w/ the crank pulley face. What am I overlooking to open the pump shaft pathway?
