Does anyone know if there is enough clearance to put 42" tires on a 1486 cab tractor? I know they use step rims, 38 to 42, on fender tractors because you can raise the fenders. I am wanting to go from 20.8 X 38 to 18.4 X 42 |

They will clear because those two sizes are the same height. |

What is the reason it seems so many people are moving to 42 inch tires?
Thanks Reaver |

I buy used tires for what I do, custom bale hay and am on the road a lot, 38's are becoming very hard to find because most newer tractors use 42's and around here there several in the salvage yards |
