I need the torque specs for the rocker arm assembly bolts. They are the same size as the head bolts and probably have the same torque but I find everytime I assume something it returns to bite me. Ford 8210, 401cu in diesel. Thanks, Dan

They are head bolts... just a bit longer. Torque is the same.
A 9/16" bolt should torque in three stages at 90, 100, and 110 ft-lb.
Chase the holes with a bottoming tap...

I beleive the sequence is as follows... you start on the right side, middle outside bolt, follow to the left middle outside, then forward to the right inside, then left inside, then rearward to the right inside followed by the left inside... then forward and repeat until you're done. Then to the next stage, repeat the sequence, then the last stage.
I'm just going by memory on that... so check that this sequence will have you arrive at the front and back of the head at the same time. If it doesn't adjust your starting point so that it does.
Also... if you have 1/2" head bolts, post back and I'll check the torque values.
