I have a mf251xe tractor and the fuelfilter has been changed and the tractor still starves for fuel, any one got any suggestions how would be the best way to remove the fuel tank, so it can be cleaned out.

I'm not familiar with a 251, but if it has a lift pump with the top held on by 2 or 3 or 4 screws take the top off and make sure that there is not a little screen in there that is all clogged full of crap.

My 251 had the same problem. After removing and cleaning everything I finally found a blockage in the fitting leading into the fuel filter base. This was the closest restriction. Problem solved. |
