do yiu need to remove the clutch to remove the clutch shaft or just the coupeler? [farmall H] THANKS Also any one have bearing numbers for H tranny [marked on bearing ]is a tranny bearing and seal kit available for H THANKS MUCH DEANE

You don't have to remove the clutch - maybe the release bearing and its linkage, I forget. Look real hard at that u-joint looking coupler before you take it out - there's more than one way to put it back but only one right way. That part I don't forget.
I haven't heard of a kit for the tranny bearings and seals. There is an on-line H parts catalog at

It's cumbersome to use, even with a fast connection, but if you don't want to spring for a hard copy it's doable.

Pulling three clutch Pressure plate bolts at 120 degrees apart, and putting them into the cover to cause the plate to relax its tension will assist in the removal and reinstall of the clutch shaft. Check it for wear at the splines, and lube it's splines with triflow teflon dry spray to assure good action JimN
